CRTC Is A Joke, But No One Is Laughing
The CRTC says it is not endorsing internet throttling, but they sure seem to be permitting it.
Score another victory for big business and another loss for the people Bell is ripping off. Did anyone have any doubt though that the CRTC would rule in our favor? Solution, don't bother using Bell anyways, their service sucked when I had it and it probably does now, in fact, I am certain it does. Apparently, in Canada, it is ok to sign customers on a contract and state they will receive a certain speed,but then throttle those speeds due to an incapacity to maintain all the other speeds on the net. Not only that, but still charge the customer the regular bill for a service that has degraded. Unfucking real.

CRTC is a joke, it does nothing for Canadians. When are we going to stand up to them and get rid of that stupid archaic organization?

I agree with you 100% bell and rogers the same monopoly and crtc does nothing. between the throttling and the caps the internet sucks. online gaming is so laggy i can't play half the time. I see that these greedy pigs are to cheap to upgrade their infrastructure so they don't need to do throttling and the caps.The CRTC is just a joke they don't care about the consumer just want to keep the big companies happy we always get screwed by the big guys. be it gas or tv or internet we as consumers alway lose in the end.
