Harper- Dalton Who?
Seems Stephen Harper is ignoring the cry-baby Dalton McGuinty. Dalton sent out a letter to Ontarian federal candidates and to the party leaders, asking them where they stand on his "fairness campaign" and Harper was the only major party leader not to respond. Interestingly enough, Elizabeth May also did not respond, but some of her Ontario candidates did.
...
Taking a page out of Danny William's play book, Dalton wants to play federal politics and inject himself into the forefront by trying to influence the election. The provincial Liberals went so far as to distribute it's fairness campaign flyers at subway and Go train stations last week and will continue with online adverts next week.
Now, what is at the heart of McGuinty's game? Well, Ontario taxpayers put $20 billion more into federal coffers than they get back in such things as transfer payments etc. Dalton wants fairness, which most of us Ontarians would agree with. But I for one, despise the little snake and wonder why he is asking the leader of a federal party to clean up after 13 years of Liberal crap? I know there is a difference between federal libs and provincial libs but where was Dalton 3 years ago? I don't recall him going after Martin et al.
I don't blame Harper, fully, on this, as Dalton has been at the helm of Ontario for quite some time now, and the only thing he has managed to do is screw with our health care and introduce various taxes and laws. Wow, great record Dalt.
Harper may despise Ontario, but so do you Dalton, at least judging by your record of broken promises. Fair is fair Dalton, you weren't fair to us Ontarians, and now you're whining about fairness from the feds? Shame on you. I'm glad Harper ignored you, it's just too bad the dumb assed Liberal supporters didn't ignore you last election.
