Ignatieff and raising taxes

So I've come back to post here on my blog after going through a bit of depression over the past month and a half. What do I come back to? None other than Ignatieff spouting off about how it might be necessary to raise taxes to fight the deficit. Well, considering I live in Ontario, which has been losing jobs at an alarming rate, I don't think we want more taxes. I don't think the guy who got laid off at the GM plant wants to pay higher taxes, and I know I don't either.

Follow up:

Maybe my cynical attitude is clouding my thoughts but I don't think raising taxes is the way to "fix" the economy. Maybe I've just had enough of the same Liberal bull shit ideologies or maybe this wannabe Prime Minister has a political death wish? I don't think many Canucks want to hear about raising taxes. Remember Stephane Dion, yeah, look where he ended up for having a wet dream about introducing a new tax. If the Liberals have any hope of gaining back their power, this type of talk is certainly not going to bring that to fruition.

Please do not perpetuate Ignatieff's nonsense and new euphemism. It is not a seal "cull". It is a slaughter, pure and simple.

ethix, what are you talking about? The seal cull wasn't even mentioned in this post, however, I did make a post about that topic earlier so perhaps you posted in the wrong one?
