Little trouble in Big China

Stephen Harper rebuked by China's Premier, according to the media. The way they were covering this, you'd think the Premier actually said something that would cause irreparable harm , something that was probably mistranslated anyhow. What people should care about is the about face Harper has made since coming into power.

Follow up:

Remember his stance on China's human rights violations and their treatment of the Dalai Lama? I do, and I also remember the way the Chinese government acted when the Dalai Lama visited Canada; as well as the Canadian government snubbing him on his latest visit, no doubt due to their increased efforts to strengthen relations with the Chinese.

So the media reports a non-issue and leaves no doubt in my mind that trade matters more than anything. What a sad excuse for a Prime Minister, such a spineless shemp. It's business as usual, everything else is just swept under the rug.
