Wow, the movement has arrived in Canada and the people out in the streets are getting the same lack of respect from their fellow Canadians that they receive in the US. I cannot believe how ignorant some people can be. Telling these protesters to "occupy a job" and live a life of inequality that their fellow man is living is just stupid. So because someone works 2 jobs and works insane hours, that’s something to be proud of? When the people on wall street et al and the banks and corporations play with money and ruin people’s lives, we should just shut up and take it?

Does everyone have Stockholm syndrome or something? What is wrong with them? Condemning others for actually doing something rather than living life in the status quo. Perhaps nothing will come of these worldwide protests, but the fact remains that at least some people are fed up. Why should anyone need to work 2 or 3 jobs just to provide for their family, while some guy sits in an office and gets paid even for failure? It isn't right period. How can anyone defend bailing out a bank? It's ridiculous. The problem today is that there are too many people sitting on the sidelines who just live each day taking it up the you know what. They think marking an X on a ballot somehow changes things. I've got news for them, it doesn't. Change only happens when people band together and force change, be it peaceful protests or other. This has been coming for a long time and now that it is here, we have idiots poopooing it and calling these protesters lazy hippies. Get real.

True, many of the people doing the occupying aren't really clued in to why they are there, but they are there none the less, while the party poopers sit at their job and cast negative judgment on others. So these haters believe that it is ok to reward failure, to pay huge bonuses for people that play silly games and ruin people's lives. That somehow this is capitalism and this is how it's supposed to be. They are wrong, this is not capitalism, it is corporatism and greed only benefits a few.

So instead of going on a huge rant, I just want to know why some people think that what these banks, governments and corporations do is ok? Instead of pointing fingers at the protesters, explain why you think it is fine the way it is?
